Amadeus is the leader of IT solutions for the travel industry; Sophia Antipolis is the main R&D site. The Purchasing Services department, within Finance division is in charge of the selection of suppliers and the negotiation of contracts with external providers.
The perimeter of General Services (GSV) Purchasing team covers purchasing activities related to all Internal IT (outsourcing activities, hardware, software), Building & Facilities, Human Resources, Legal, Finance, Innovation activities for Amadeus, placing the team at the heart of the innovation and business development of the company.
Provide high level operational and administrative support associated with the buyer function. Monitor input from internal customers to better understand their needs.
Analyze internal customer requests, propose supplier and follow purchase order creation with Operation and Services team. Provide support and assistance to internal customers and other teams in Finance division.
Participate to suppliers relationships in accordance with Amadeus policies and business conducts. Help solving conflicts. Help internal customers with identification and resolution of supply, quality or logistical problems associated with purchasing activities and tools.
Ensure support tasks including activity reporting, maintenance in the ERP system of contract, supplier and catalogue information. Collect information and produce reports and documentation associated with the functional activities. Participate to supplier evaluation by providing and collecting information related to supplier relationship and deliverables.
Participate to Request For Proposal process and activity follow up.
Propose and implement improvements related to purchasing and procurement activities and processes.
Good knowledge of purchasing practices and processes.
Good level of English
Curiosity, openness, ability to understand quickly, negotiation basics.
Synthetic state of mind, ability to summarize and communicate efficiently
Basic knowledge of legal aspects related to intercompany contracting
IT skills in communication is a plus
