Summary of the activities

Being part of a team where you will contribute to program software to facilitate the journey for millions of travellers every year. You will gain a first experience in backend software development, according to your studies and skills. You will join a multicultural English-speaking team. You will have the opportunity to learn and at the same time contribute to your teams’ tasks.

During this experience

You will be part of a team that works out what users need.

Develop your technical skills and knowledge while participating to the development of software by following Amadeus standards and guidelines.

You may contribute to*:

analyzing of customer needs,
running feasibility studies, designing software technology(ies) and coding it,
discussing the solutions developed with the Product Managers & users to get feedback, participating in unit, package and performance tests to ensure reliability,
going through the checking phases to ensure our software works for other people,
producing software documentation necessary for the application and issuing it to the requesting departments.

The ideal candidate

Is pursuing Bachelor/Master’s degree studies in Computer Science, or related technical field and has a good level of proficiency in English.

A first knowledge and/or experience in backend software development, in agile methodologies environment, in one or more the following technologies would be ideal: C, C++, Java, J2EE. Also, it would be nice to have heard or worked already with RDBMS/SQL (Oracle preferred), NoSQL (MongoDB, Hadoop ecosystem), Standard Template Library and Unix/Linux.
